In Flight Entertainment
They might not have had a in flight movie per se, but I did just fine with ginger ale. And to answer your question, yes I did take a picture of my complimentary beverage. Doesn't everyone?

By the way, if you're curious how ginger ale really came to be ginger ale as we know it today, then take a look here. Interesting, I suppose.

Oddly, I always drink Ginger Ale on a plane but never on the ground. I have met many others who are plane-only G.A. drinkers. Can you offer any insight into this?

I virtually always get ginger ale on the plane, but sometimes I get cranberry juice with a lemon wedge, and occasionally I'll pay for an adult beverage.

$5 gets you the fine Dutch bev we like to call Heineken. A wonderful choice in any venue. However, I prefer Ginger Ale. It makes for a nice refreshing (and fizzy) feeling while flying.
I've actually begun purchasing Ginger Ale for home consumption as well. It's great for sipping in the summer... on the rocks of course.

I recently attended something called the Heineken experience in Amsterdam where they put a funny hat on me, told me that I was almost their 1,000,000th visitor, and sent me on a facinating tour of the history of making their beer. Oh, yeah, they also made me drink a lot of it. It was a delight.

The Heineken experience is pure genius. I loved that place - did you send out a post card in one of those weird Heineken themed booths?
And nothing, absolutely nothing will compare to the taste of sweet sweet nectar straight from the brewery...

Yeah we did the cards from the booths... we even did the video one... of course we looked like complete tools because we didn't know what was happening other that that we were on the screen with a bunch of beer bubbles!
