LA moments:

1. It took me 50 minutes to get to work today, over a distance of 12 miles.
2. My rental car, a Buick LeSabre mind you, is parked right between a Bentley Continental GT and a Mercedes SL.

I did. AVIS handed it to me with my receipt. It was splendid. After procuring the car I immediately went shuffleboarding.
