L.A. Moment

Thursday, September 01, 2005 by eric yang

LA moments:

1. It took me 50 minutes to get to work today, over a distance of 12 miles.
2. My rental car, a Buick LeSabre mind you, is parked right between a Bentley Continental GT and a Mercedes SL.

Dead And Posting.

Wednesday, August 31, 2005 by eric yang

I'm dedicated to posting. So dedicated in fact that I'm dead and posting. Hmmm. "Dead and Posting" - sounds like the premise for a terrible movie starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. Oh wait, that's already a movie sans the posting bit.

Actually, that's another snapshot from the movie set of 'Certainty'. Minus my counterpart who has also been... dealt with and is consquently the one taking this lovely picture.

Uh... acting?

So, I'm in Los Angeles for less than 24 hours and suddenly I find myself in a movie. A bit role, but a movie nonetheless. That's yours truly sporting the semi-automatic machine gun and the gel-less do. The most peculiar things seem to happen to me... methinks. More on all this later, I'm still reeling from the whole matter.

About

Midweekpost.com is a take on New York City thru the eyes (and camera) of an OCD, ADD, Scorpio written in the timeless, Thoreau inspired, form of blogging. Or as we like to refer to it: ADD writing for ADD reading. It's authored by a most contradictive guy armed with a most applicable Univ. of Tennessee economics degree working in the media industry as a producer (you're damn right that's cliche') of design (huh?) for a major broadcast company's digital initiative (say wha?) that has somehow managed to find his Korean, yet not Korean looking self living in the city that Ambien & Cosmo induced coma never sleeps. All that said, I don't promise greatness and I won't promise awesome but I will promise New York and a little dash o' me.
