Vienna but no Sausages

That's a terrible title... I love it.

I'm kickin' it back with a Cafe Au Lait (Misto to you Starbuckers) here on my patio and decided it was about time to post some of my other pictures from my trip to the E.U. So, for here's another visual diversion for you. Pictures of Vienna.

The weather didn't want to cooperate with my photo-aspirations so I said F-it. I'm going to make this place look dark and gothic despite it being an absolutely gorgeous city. Not to mention the shopping in Mariahilfer Strasse was outstanding. Good god I'm turning into a female.

And while I'm on seemingly homo-fanatic tirade I will tell you this with utter confidence in my sexuality... Matthew Mcconaughey is smokin' in Two For the Money. I'm jealous.

iBond?

So, I'm a self-proclaimed James Bond addict. There's no denying it. Also, I'm addicted to my iPod so this week's been a doozy for me as not only did they release that new iPod with video but also the new James Bond.

To borrow a quote from Katrina Longworth... "He's blond and he's Bond". Well that's fine and dandy because I think he'll make for a good one. His performance in Layer Cake was smooth as ice. Layer Cake, the movie however, was a bit subpar.

Anyway, that said - it's been a doozy of a week. For reasons I'd rather not make public right now, but soon - very soon. No... I didn't elope.

Weddings. Weekends.

Those 10 pounds I've been aiming to shed are going to be a breeze if I keep having weekends like this past one. It can all be summed up into one word... dancing. And a whole helluva lot of it. My friend Adam Starkey got married this past Sunday and it was a marvelous occasion. Not only did I get to perform but I got a chance to snap off a few pictures of people in their sartorial finest.

That's my compadre Bradley Hasemeyer and myself. For all you ladies out there... he's quite the uber-eligible bachelor. And for some reason he also looks roughly 19 inches taller than me. Gotta love perspective.

About

Midweekpost.com is a take on New York City thru the eyes (and camera) of an OCD, ADD, Scorpio written in the timeless, Thoreau inspired, form of blogging. Or as we like to refer to it: ADD writing for ADD reading. It's authored by a most contradictive guy armed with a most applicable Univ. of Tennessee economics degree working in the media industry as a producer (you're damn right that's cliche') of design (huh?) for a major broadcast company's digital initiative (say wha?) that has somehow managed to find his Korean, yet not Korean looking self living in the city that Ambien & Cosmo induced coma never sleeps. All that said, I don't promise greatness and I won't promise awesome but I will promise New York and a little dash o' me.
