Gimlet (not pronounced Jim-let) Martini's were introduced to me by my friend Tim one day back in Knoxville. They're delicious and the W hotel makes a fine one. Regardless, I've come to the conclusion that I prefer, in moderation, a Tanqueray Gin Gimlet Martini - on the rocks. It might as well be an entirely different drink but it's smooth as silk.

Just so you know, in my infinite wisdom I snapped a shot of my friend's drink, not mine which came served in a tumbler.
