It's good to know that they aren't raising the prices of taxi cabs in New York because certainly they would never blame it on buying $52,000 Lexus RX400 Hybrids instead of $20,000 Ford Crown Victorias. Surely not...
My guess is that there isn't a rate sticker on the side of the cab because the moment you shut that silky smooth passenger side Lexus door you're greeted with a surly and smelly driver who immediately reaches his hand out and says "visa, boss. these bitches is expensive"
