Some parts of NYC have become entirely covered in snow as you can see from this pic. Um, ok maybe not - I'm just being an idiot.
Regardless, I was sifting thru some old photos and came across this one... I swear I think this has got to be one of my favorites. Maybe because it looks like we just climbed to the top of some massive mountain. Oh, in the comforts of a chairlift of course.

J or Chris, do you two remember that girl I was diggin' while we were here a few years ago (oh wait, everyone was)... someone help me remember her name?? It's killing me right now because I can't remember her name.

Libby, you inspired me to make a card.

... though something makes me think these aren't the types of cards you were thinking of.

So... the 27+ inches of snow we got wasn't technically a blizzard despite all three airports serving NYC being shut down, the 87 thousand dozen tons of pantsuit ruining (i just said pantsuit) Morton's salt (i just said Morton's salt) being poured on the street and oh the fact that people were skiing for godsake. Oh well, flurry it is.
Click on the picture to see all my pix from the "Uber-Flurry of '06". Guaranteed to make you feel... cooooold.
Anyone seen my Chevy Blazer? Ohhh wait... there it is.

Ever seen the depths of a New York City subway tunnel? It's disgustly great.

A friend of mine had to borrow my oven the other day to bake brownies for her boyfriend for this upcoming valentine's day (grrr... feb. 15th is overrated). That's good & fine because I knew she was going to bake a little extra as an oven-tax, but little did I know that I would be greated with this treat. This little paper-ensconced-scrumptious-rotundly-spectacular-whipped-icing-n'sprinkles-red-velvety cake of a treat. And served up in it's own personalized brown bag. Oh my gawd, I love cupcakes. I don't know if you know this people. I LOVE CUPCAKES. I went to the shop just I could have milk to drink with it at, oh, 2am.
[edit: I meant Feb 14th, not feb 15th]
