Red Rocks Colorado

Wednesday, March 28, 2007 by eric yang

Red Rocks... About the only thing I knew about them before this past weekend was the Dave Matthews concert CD recorded there. Now, I've got a different perspective. Here's one of them:

Red Rocks Colorado

Oh, and if you look closely, that little sliver at the bottom of the photo is a two lane road... yeah, I know, the rocks are that big.

John Denver's Home Is Where I'll Be

Thursday, March 22, 2007 by eric yang

Well, I don't how much time John Denver spent in Vail but I'll at least be out there for the weekend. Good times.

Sorry for the lacking of posts this week. My immune system finally succumbed to either the weather changes or our office building's recirculated air so posting has been a little low on the priorities. Not that you all aren't the most. Important. People. Ever.

It appears Colorado's weather isn't cooperating with our trip but, oh... I will ski. Even if I have to wear ice skates to do it.

Well, it's good that it's 2:23 in the afternoon because I'm pretty sure that I have no idea what happened to the past 72 hours.

8 Hours of Flying Time
5 Friends
1 Newly met flight companion (hey Hilary)
1 Buffet
3 Slot pulls
2 Night @ Ceasar's Palace Augustus Tower
18 Hours logged at the Tables in three casinos.
7 Benjamins down
1 Trip to the Mad Greek in Baker, CA
and...
1 Room service order

(that's about all I can remember for now)

Viva Las Vegas

Friday, November 10, 2006 by eric yang

las vegasThis evening I am bound for Las Vegas and California (in sequence no less). It should be a good, long needed, trip full o' heaping piles of no R&R. I have yet to manage a trip where I come back energized and chomping at the bit, but hopefully this one will accomodate. Most likely not but it's always fun to hope. I mean... it is the West Coast after all.

I'll be sure to post the furor and hullabaloo, post haste. Stay tuned.

Craps Tables, here I come.

By the way, with the elections having come and gone... this should make for a captivating 4 years to come. I'm not going there with politics but it's at least worth an acknowledgement.

About

Midweekpost.com is a take on New York City thru the eyes (and camera) of an OCD, ADD, Scorpio written in the timeless, Thoreau inspired, form of blogging. Or as we like to refer to it: ADD writing for ADD reading. It's authored by a most contradictive guy armed with a most applicable Univ. of Tennessee economics degree working in the media industry as a producer (you're damn right that's cliche') of design (huh?) for a major broadcast company's digital initiative (say wha?) that has somehow managed to find his Korean, yet not Korean looking self living in the city that Ambien & Cosmo induced coma never sleeps. All that said, I don't promise greatness and I won't promise awesome but I will promise New York and a little dash o' me.
