Hey Ya Cover by Obadiah Parker

There isn't a video for Obadiah Parker's cover for "Hey Ya" by Outkast. But in my ever ongoing quest to 'mix-it-up' I found this video of a designer who used freestyle animation to make a video for it... the song and video are well worth your two minutes:

Streets of New York - Episode 1: Break Dancing

Monday, February 05, 2007 by eric yang

No - not me. My break dancing is equivalent to a Broadway Bound Sexually Ambiguous Elephant... anyway, now that I've got the TREO I've honestly got no excuse to try and get you a little closer to what it is I see everyday on my jaunts here on the streets of New York. One of my favorite things about New York is public transportation, even more loved are the myriad [of] street performers sprinkled throughout the subway system. Here are a few breakdancers (one of who found the video I took of him on YouTube oddly enough).

About

Midweekpost.com is a take on New York City thru the eyes (and camera) of an OCD, ADD, Scorpio written in the timeless, Thoreau inspired, form of blogging. Or as we like to refer to it: ADD writing for ADD reading. It's authored by a most contradictive guy armed with a most applicable Univ. of Tennessee economics degree working in the media industry as a producer (you're damn right that's cliche') of design (huh?) for a major broadcast company's digital initiative (say wha?) that has somehow managed to find his Korean, yet not Korean looking self living in the city that Ambien & Cosmo induced coma never sleeps. All that said, I don't promise greatness and I won't promise awesome but I will promise New York and a little dash o' me.
